Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai, located in the DIFC, seeks an experienced Bartender to join our creative team. You will deliver and elevate guest beverage experiences while upholding the club’s high standards and brand image.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in luxury hospitality, a recognised professional certification, and excellent English communication. This role involves long shifts in a premium setting with a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in luxury hotels or fine dining.
• Internationally recognized professional certification.
• Excellent level of English (written and spoken).
• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Ability to work long shifts and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver beverages to members and guests following SOPs.
• Participate in creating new cocktails and assist with bar menu development.
• Ensure efficient, consistent service and standards during service periods.
• Handle minor complaints professionally and courteously.
• Ensure bar equipment and service items are prepared and available.
• Minimise beverage wastage and secure stock under your responsibility.
• Monitor opening and closing duties and daily checklists.

The Arts Club Dubai unveils an amazing opportunity for a talented artisan to join our passionate and creative team. The Bartender will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the Bar service by delivering and keeping the highest level of guest service and experience, while ensuring that the Club’s standards and procedures are adhered to at all times, and the brand image is maintained.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Your main duties and responsibilities are:

• Prepare and deliver beverages to members and guests following the department Standard Operating Procedures


• Participate in creating new cocktails and assist with developing drink list for the Bar menu


• Ensure the efficient, consistent flow of service and standards are constantly met during service periods


• Handle minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner


• Ensure that all the Bar equipment and any other objects needed for service are prepared and available


• Be efficient in keeping beverage wastage to a minimum and ensuring stock under your responsibility is secure


• Monitor the daily checklist and ensure all opening and closing duties are completed

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants


• Internationally recognized professional certification


• Excellent level of English, written and spoken


• Have strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility


• Excellent communication and listening skills


• Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality


• Ability to work long shifts and stand for the extended period of time
