Job summary

You will design SOPs, manage scheduling, supervise mixology, build VIP relationships, and partner with marketing to promote events while safeguarding costs and profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional bartending experience with 2–3 years in a bar management or supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred; certifications valued.
• Valid food handler certification and knowledge of alcohol service laws required; POS skills emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations ensuring efficiency, consistency, and service standards.
• Establish SOPs and quality assurance processes to maintain brand quality.
• Manage staff scheduling, workload distribution, and shift coordination.
• Monitor guest behavior and enforce responsible alcohol service in accordance with laws.
• Recruit, hire and onboard qualified bar staff; provide comprehensive training.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
• Create development plans and identify high-potential staff for advancement.
• Foster a positive team culture that promotes engagement and retention.
• Demonstrate advanced mixology and develop signature cocktails.
• Curate beverage program; monitor costs and profitability.
• Engage guests, promote specials, and drive sales through events.
• Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and quality inputs.
