Job summary

La Suite Dubai Hotel & Apartment, part of Minor Hotels, seeks a Food & Beverage Attendant to deliver guest service by serving food and drinks, taking orders, and maintaining cleanliness according to brand standards.

You will welcome guests, upsell offerings, process bills, and coordinate with kitchen and service teams. A high school diploma and hospitality experience are preferred; knowledge of HACCP and hygiene practices is required; excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hospitality or food service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Present menus, explain items, promotions, and special offers.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages according to established service standards.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Set up, clean, and maintain dining areas before, during, and after service.
• Prepare tables with required tableware, linens, and condiments.
• Clear and reset tables promptly.
• Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown when required.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately following company procedures.
• Follow opening and closing checklists for the assigned outlet.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Promote and upsell food and beverage offerings to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
• Communicate special requests and dietary requirements accurately to the kitchen team.
• Ensure food is served at the correct temperature and presentation standards.
• Adhere to food safety, HACCP, and hygiene regulations.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming and professional appearance.
• Ensure cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
• Follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Attend departmental meetings and training sessions.
