Job summary

Novotel World Trade Centre in Dubai is seeking an experienced F&B Attendant to greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and drinks with accuracy while maintaining high service standards.

You will manage payments via POS, assist in setup for events, and help keep dining areas clean and organized. A high school diploma and hospitality experience are preferred; shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hospitality/restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers professionally.
• Take orders and relay to kitchen/bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages accurately and timely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
• Assist in setting up dining rooms or banquet spaces for events.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Cash handling and processing payments.
• Operate and maintain point-of-sale systems.
• Assist in inventory restocking and supplies management.
• Participate in training programs and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with kitchen, housekeeping, and front desk to ensure guest satisfaction.
