Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie in the Bakery section to deliver exceptional baked goods. You will assist in preparing and baking, ensure recipes are followed precisely, and support kitchen operations while maintaining HACCP and food safety standards.

Minimum 2 years in a similar bakery role in a 5-star setting, with strong baking and dough handling skills. English communication is essential; other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal culinary training is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Demi Chef de Partie in bakery of a 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant.
• Solid knowledge in baking, dough handling, proofing, and finishing; HACCP and food safety practices.
• Excellent English communication; additional languages a plus; team-oriented mindset.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and baking high-quality bread, pastries and other baked items.
• Follow ingredients and recipes precisely to maintain consistency and excellence.
• Monitor stock and requisition ingredients; minimize waste.
• Collaborate on new recipes and baked items; support kitchen operations.
• Uphold health, safety and HACCP standards in line with hotel policies.
