Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai, located in DIFC, invites a Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry/Bakery to join our creative kitchen team. You will manage pastry/bakery sections, ensuring recipes and quality standards set by the Executive Chef are followed to achieve maximum member satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years in luxury hospitality, a recognized culinary certification, and excellent English. Strong organisational skills and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurant.
Internationally recognized professional certification.
Excellent level of English.
Strong organisational and time management skills with flexibility.
Excellent team management, communication and listening skills.
Demonstrate integrity and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Undertake food preparation and cooking in the Pastry/Bakery kitchen on a day-to-day basis under supervision, ensuring quality and presentation.
Maintain sufficient stock and ensure flow of food during service by following recipes.
Keep kitchen areas clean when not in use and comply with hygiene standards.
Handle and maintain kitchen equipment and tools properly.
Follow hygiene, stock rotation, dating, storage and temperature control rules.
Minimise waste and ensure mise-en-place is ready for service.
