Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Dubai Festival City is seeking a Commis 1 - Bakery for F&B preparation. The role supports the bakery team in mise-en-place, food preparation, and maintaining clean, hygienic work areas in a luxury hotel setting.

You will work with a welcoming team and participate in daily briefings and trainings to uphold the brand’s standards. Experience in a luxury restaurant or 5* hotel is preferred, along with strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Must have similar experience working in either a luxury restaurant or a 5* hotel environment
• Must have strong communication skills
• Committed to serving food of the highest quality

Responsibilities

• Prepares all mise-en-place for day-to-day operation
• Maintains a healthy and hygienic work area
• Communicates politely and display courtesy to guests and colleagues
• Support team with mise-en-place and storage pick ups
• Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties or guest feedback
• Attends and participates in daily briefings and training sessions
• Prepares in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service
• Cleans and re-sets working area
• Implements hotel and department regulations including hygiene and cleanliness
