Anantara Group in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Commis 1 - Bakery to assist in the preparation and service of bakery offerings. You will set up mis-en-place for outlets, follow standard recipes, and operate bakery equipment safely under supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel, restaurant, or bakery is an advantage.
• Knowledge of bread, rolls, cakes, cookies, pastries and desserts.
• Ability to measure ingredients accurately and follow recipes.
• Basic dough prep, mixing, proofing and baking knowledge.
• Operate ovens, mixers and bakery equipment safely.
• Knowledge of HACCP, hygiene standards, labeling, FIFO and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and service of bakery items and mis-en-place.
• Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure quality.
• Maintain hygienic work areas and adhere to food safety rules.
• Ensure proper dating, storage, rotation and stock control.
• Support events, banquets and daily bakery operations.
• Show good teamwork, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
