Job summary

Sanad Aerotech in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Senior Engineer - Repair Development to advance aviation and aero engine MRO capabilities. You will lead the introduction of new repair capabilities, oversee equipment acquisition, and ensure compliance with OEM and regulatory standards.

You will supervise engineers, develop process parameters, validate repairs via FAIR, and report to the Director of the Center of Excellence. A strong background in aviation engineering is required.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in aviation, MRO or related industrial operations, including 1–3 years in a supervisory role
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and GD&T certifications preferred
• Knowledge of AS9100, aviation quality systems, and NDT Level I/II advantageous
• Strong skills in CAPEX planning, repair validation, and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Repair Capability Strategy & Development: identify gaps and develop plans to enhance repair capabilities across engine types
• Capability Planning & KPI Management: plan annual development initiatives and monitor KPIs
• CAPEX Planning & Equipment Implementation: justify capex and oversee equipment acquisition and commissioning
• Repair Validation & OEM Approval: validate repair procedures and manage FAIR submissions for OEM approval
• Quality, Safety & Environmental Compliance: ensure compliance across repair activities
• Regulatory Compliance & Capability Records: maintain FAA, EASA, and OEM standards and documentation
• Continuous Improvement & Lean Implementation: drive process improvements via Lean Six Sigma

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
