Job summary

Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Technician to maintain S&L equipment and support on-site events. You will handle sound systems, projection, lighting, and stage setup for entertainment, conferences, and night activities.

English communication is required, with a Diploma or Certificate in Electrical or Audio Visual. The role includes shift work, equipment maintenance, and coordinating with performers and guests to ensure seamless shows.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate in Electrical or Audio Visual
• Minimum 2+ years in a similar role
• Should be able to communicate well in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all S&L equipments are clean and properly maintained
• Do weekly shift for S&L subdepartman
• Take responsibility for the S&L equipment
• Setup sound mixers (digital/analog), CD players, sound processor, speaker setup (active/passive)
• Be fully aware of recreations facilities, Evening programs and shows timings concept
• Use S&L equipment like projection systems, visual splitters, build truss, wireless microphones, lighting desk, DMX addresses, programing light desk, connecting DMX, splitter, manage show
• Maintain archive for hotel music for entertainment activities (night club, lobby, rest bars)
• Manage all kinds of meeting and conference guests needs
• Play professional music for any kind of guest portrait
• Manage bands or singers sound check and stage setup, singer riders

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1.1.1 Ensure all S&L equipments are clean and properly maintained
• 1.1.2 Doing weekly shift for S&L subdepartman.
• 1.1.3 Take responsibility for the S&L equipment
• 1.1.4 Using set up sound mixers(digital analog) cd players sound processor speaker setup (activepassive).
• 1.1.5 Be fully aware of recrations facilities Evening programs and shows timings concept
• 1.1.6 Using S&L Eqs like; projection systemsvisiual splitters build truss construction wireless microphones and setting up frequencies use light desk dmx addresses programing light desk connecting dmx splittermanaging the show.
• 1.1.7 Having archive for hotel music(entertainment activities night club lobbyrest bars).
• 1.1.8 Managing all kind of meeting and conference guests needs.
• 1.1.9 Playing professionall music (for any kind of guest portrait)
• 1.1.10 Managing bands or singers sound check and stage setup singer riders.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Diploma / Certificate in Electirical or Audio Visual

Experience: Minimum 23 years in a similar role

Other: Should be able to communicate well in English.
