Job summary

Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in Dubai seeks a meticulous Laundry Attendant to join our luxury hospitality team. You will sort, categorize, and launder guest clothing, linens, and staff uniforms with care, ensuring proper handling and quality.

Safe operation of laundry equipment and strict quality checks are essential to uphold our high standards. Fluency in English is required, and prior experience in luxury hotels is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Certificate.
• Previous experience in luxury hospitality, hotels and resorts.
• Proactive approach to handling guest requests.
• Passion for delivering personalized guest experiences and maintaining high service standards.
• Proficiency in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Sort and categorize various types of laundry, including guest clothing, linens, and staff uniforms, ensuring proper handling and segregation.
• Inspect guest clothing for stains or damage, using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques while preserving garment integrity.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, selecting appropriate cycles and settings for washing, drying, and ironing.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation through thorough washing, drying, ironing, and folding of laundered items.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure laundered items meet cleanliness, appearance, and customer satisfaction standards before delivery.
• Manage inventory levels by accurately tracking items laundered and notifying supervisors of stock replenishment needs.

• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer guidelines and selecting appropriate cycles and settings for washing, drying, and ironing.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation through thorough washing, drying, ironing, and folding of laundered items.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure laundered items meet established standards of cleanliness, appearance, and customer satisfaction before delivery.
• Manage inventory levels by accurately tracking items laundered and promptly notifying supervisors of stock replenishment needs.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Certificate
• Previous experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality, hotels and resorts.
• Proactive approach to handling guest requests
• Passion for delivering personalized guest experiences and maintaining the highest service standards
• Proficiency in English is essential
