Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Abu Dhabi seeks a highly organized MEP Engineer to oversee on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems on a major project.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, verify materials against specifications, resolve field clashes, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule in line with DEWA/ADDC and Civil Defense requirements across residential, commercial, or industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 8–12 years of on-site construction experience with integrated MEP scopes on residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the on-site installation of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, and fire life-safety).
• Oversee coordination of MEP subcontractors and field labor to maintain progress.
• Ensure workmanship adheres to shop drawings and local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense).
• Conduct site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with codes.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and field-driven MEP Engineer to oversee the on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. In this role, you will bridge the gap between engineering designs and physical execution. You will manage specialized subcontractors, ensure materials meet specifications, troubleshoot field clashes, and ensure all MEP systems are delivered safely, on schedule, and in compliance with building codes

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of HVAC ductwork, chiller systems, VRF units, air handling units (AHUs), fire sprinkler systems, and ventilation.
• Oversee electrical containment, cable pulling, DB terminations, lighting layouts, and Low Voltage (ELV) systems like CCTV, access control, and fire alarms.
• Coordinate daily tasks for MEP subcontractors and trade labor to maintain continuous progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship adheres to quality benchmarks, approved shop drawings, and local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense).

Required Qualifications
