Job summary

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy is seeking an experienced Application Operations professional to oversee stability, availability, and performance of UAE-based digital platforms and enterprise applications. The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, incident management, governance, and disaster recovery across cloud environments.

You will lead incident response, drive observability, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure production readiness and continuous improvement of ERP,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 7-10 years of experience in Application Operations, System Engineering, Production Support, or Solution Architecture.
• Strong experience with Azure cloud technologies and enterprise digital platforms.
• Good understanding of networking, firewalls, and infrastructure environments.
• Experience with APIs, CRM systems, ERP platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational stability, availability, and performance of digital applications, APIs, web platforms, CRM, and ERP systems.
• Monitor application, infrastructure, database, and network environments using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Identify service degradation proactively and initiate corrective actions.
• Drive operational improvements and long-term service sustainability.
• Lead major incident response and service restoration activities.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure remediation actions are completed.
• Track recurring issues and implement preventive controls.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors during critical incidents.
• Oversee production releases, deployments, and operational readiness.
• Ensure governance controls, risk assessments, and rollback procedures are in place.
• Safeguard live environments and ensure minimal service disruption.
• Manage Disaster Recovery (DR) plans, testing, and operational resilience activities.
• Ensure recovery objectives align with business and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain DR documentation, procedures, and audit evidence.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and external partners.
• Monitor vendor SLAs and operational performance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, delivery, and business teams.
• Drive adoption of automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Support modernization initiatives involving AIOps, RPA, and intelligent operations.
• Contribute to scalable and future-ready operational models.

• Ensure operational stability, availability, and performance of digital applications, APIs, web platforms, CRM, and ERP systems
