Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim’s retail finance team seeks an Associate Manager of Finance to oversee governance across store and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate costs, margins, and cash handling. You will coordinate with stakeholders on invoicing, GRNs, and budget control while driving stock loss reduction and asset management.

Ideal candidates bring 5-8 years in finance or store operations finance within retail sectors, strong ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), and advanced Excel and financial analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in Finance, Audit, Financial Controlling or Store Operations Finance within Retail, FMCG, Hypermarkets, Supermarkets or Consumer Goods industries.
• Strong experience in inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, shrinkage control, and operational finance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor waste, shrinkage, and stock movement across stores and warehouses.
• Facilitate stock audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure accuracy of item costs, margins, and inventory-related transactions.
• Monitor pending GRNs and invoicing processes and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Support initiatives to reduce stock losses and improve inventory controls.
• Manage fixed asset processes including capitalization, asset tracking, and write-offs.
• Oversee cash handling, tender reconciliations, petty cash utilization, and cash spot checks.
• Monitor operating expenses and support budget control across stores and warehouses.
