Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd invites an Associate Field Engineer to apply established field engineering concepts to our EPCI projects. You will support execution activities, travel to sites for progress monitoring, and ensure compliance with project specs and safety standards.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors, produce technical reports, and contribute to execution plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 3 years of relevant experience in EPCI industry preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with project execution practices and engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in execution of engineering activities per project specs and industry standards.
• Perform regular field visits to monitor construction progress and identify issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and contractors for project lifecycle.
• Generate technical reports, site progress updates, and quality control assessments.
• Contribute to development of detailed project execution plans and schedules.
• Identify and resolve on-site technical challenges and risks.
