The Associate Corporate Counsel will provide legal support at the intersection of quick commerce, real estate, logistics, construction, and regional expansion. The role will help Amazon acquire, lease, develop, fit out, launch, and operate dark stores, micro-fulfillment facilities, ultra-fast delivery hubs, and other logistics assets across multiple jurisdictions. Quick commerce projects operate on compressed delivery schedules and frequently involve unconventional commercial structures. The lawyer will therefore need to balance legal protection with practical execution, enabling transactions to move quickly while managing property, construction, regulatory, contractual, and operational risk.
The position is suited to a qualified lawyer with meaningful experience in real estate, corporate transactions, commercial contracting, construction, development, or related legal work. Candidates should be comfortable negotiating leases and complex property agreements while understanding the operational consequences of contractual terms. Experience supporting high-volume transactions or rapidly expanding businesses will be particularly valuable. The role requires the ability to prioritize multiple transactions, respond quickly to commercial issues, and provide concise legal recommendations without unnecessarily delaying execution. The successful candidate should be able to operate across different jurisdictions and work effectively with Real Estate, Operations, Compliance, construction, project management, and business teams. Strong drafting, negotiation, risk assessment, stakeholder management, and independent judgment are central to success in this position.
This role provides the opportunity to work on real estate transactions that directly enable Amazon 's expansion into faster and more localized delivery models. Quick commerce requires a continuous pipeline of strategically located sites, giving the legal team direct involvement in projects that move from negotiation to operational launch at exceptional speed. The regional scope also provides exposure to diverse property markets, legal systems, development structures, and construction arrangements across AMET. The combination of transactional ownership, commercial influence, and large-scale logistics development can provide valuable progression for lawyers building expertise in real estate, infrastructure, and technology-enabled operations.
Amazon operates a broad network of fulfillment, logistics, delivery, and quick commerce facilities supporting customers across international markets. Its real estate teams acquire and develop operational sites ranging from large logistics facilities to strategically located micro-fulfillment locations, combining commercial property expertise, construction delivery, technology, and operational planning to support continued network expansion.
