Job summary

SLS Dubai Hotel and Residences invites warm, professional waitstaff to join our luxury service team in Downtown Dubai. You will provide courteous service, maintain menu knowledge, and support the head waiter during busy service periods in a 5-star setting.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a public-facing role, strong English communication, and a gracious, detail-oriented demeanor suitable for an upscale lifestyle brand hotel. Weekend shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
• Gracious, friendly and fun demeanor.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work independently and with others to promote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with management, guest feedback and concerns.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items.
• Prepare and check tables before service.
• Support the head waiter with mise en place, table resetting and preparation before and during service.
• Ensure that all company practices and procedures are met when delivering food from kitchen to guest.
• Ensure that all cleaning duties are completed in allocated times to company standards.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Set up and maintain tables, stations and service areas according to hotel/restaurant standards.
• Be assertive and attentive at all times.
• Have thorough knowledge of all product and service procedures.
• Present dishes according to hotel/restaurant standards when serving guests.
