About the Role
The Assistant Manager gives support for leading and managing the service operations teams in all aspects and ensure service standards are followed and as well as the delivery of the brand experience to guests.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and coach service staff to ensure smooth operations, high performance, and consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
- Ensure the restaurant is fully set up, clean, and ready before each service, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
- Uphold brand standards, operational procedures, and service quality across all areas of the restaurant.
- Monitor staff performance, provide constructive coaching, and support professional development.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, feedback, and concerns, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, coordinating with other departments to meet operational needs.
- Foster strong collaboration with front-of-house teams and other departments to achieve seamless service.
- Attend operations meetings, communicate updates, and contribute to improving restaurant performance.
- Assist in building a versatile, adaptive team capable of delivering exceptional service in a high-volume environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality from a reputable university.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a similar position within fast-paced, fine-dining venues.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages such as Russian are a plus.
- Strong computer literacy and familiarity with hospitality software.
- Proven management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong sense of urgency, discipline, and professionalism.
- Highly cooperative with a team-oriented mindset.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Solid knowledge of the local market and industry trends.
