Job summary

KN International Architects and Engineers LLC in Abu Dhabi is urgently seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer (I&C) to oversee infrastructure services on our projects. You will ensure quality execution, regulatory compliance, and coordination with contractors, with extensive experience in mechanical systems, pumping stations, and fluid mechanics.

Key duties include supervising contractor work, handling RFIs and submittals, reviewing shop drawings, attending weekly and monthly progress meetings,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure services, UAE preferred.
• Experience in Main Pumping Stations, 33kV Substations, Transmission Networks.
• Experience with TRANSCO or TAQA; TRANSCO approval preferred.
• Strong expertise in pumping stations, fluid mechanics, and M&E systems.
• Experience in construction supervision, quality control, and contract administration.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pumping stations and fluid mechanics across M&E systems.
• Supervise contractor work to meet contract requirements and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections and progress monitoring for timely completion of M&E systems.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and technical queries on mechanical/electrical works.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and authorities for project execution.
• Review project documentation including material approvals, method statements, and shop drawings.
• Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and propose corrective actions.
• Attend weekly and monthly progress meetings with status updates.
• Ensure on-site compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
