Job summary

KN International Architects and Engineers LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Resident Engineer (I&C) to oversee infrastructure services on complex projects, ensure quality execution, regulatory compliance, and coordinated implementation with contractors.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in electrical systems, pumping stations, fluid mechanics, SCADA for pumping stations, and familiarity with TRANSCO/TAQA approvals, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure services, UAE preferred.
• Experience in Main Pumping Stations, 33kV Substations, and Transmission Networks.
• Proven experience in SCADA systems for pumping stations.
• Experience with TRANSCO or TAQA; approval from TRANSCO preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pumping stations, fluid mechanics, and related systems.
• Supervise contractor’s work ensuring safety and quality.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress of M&E systems.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and technical queries.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and authorities.
• Review project documentation including shop drawings.
• Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and propose corrective actions.
• Attend weekly and monthly progress meetings.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations on-site.
