Job summary

KN International Architects and Engineers LLC in Abu Dhabi urgently seeks an Assistant Resident Engineer (Civil) to oversee infrastructure services and ensure quality execution on projects. The role focuses on pumping stations, fluid mechanics, and overall M&E coordination with contractors and authorities.

The candidate should have extensive UAE experience in pumping stations, 33kV substations, and transmission networks, with TRANSCO/TAQA familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure services, UAE preferred.
• Experience with pumping stations, 33kV substations, and transmission networks.
• Experience with TRANSCO or TAQA; TRANSCO approval preferred.
• Strong technical expertise in pumping stations, fluid mechanics and M&E systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pumping stations, fluid mechanics, and related systems to ensure compliance with specs and regulations.
• Supervise contractor work, ensuring safety, quality, and contract adherence.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress monitoring for timely M&E completion.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and technical queries related to mechanical/electrical works.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and authorities for smooth execution.
• Review project docs including material approvals, method statements, and shop drawings.
• Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Attend weekly and monthly progress meetings with technical input.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations on-site.
