Job summary

Stantec in Abu Dhabi seeks an Assistant Resident Engineer to support civil utilities projects including stormwater, drainage, and water distribution networks. The role involves site supervision, design review, coordination with authorities and contractors, and preparation of progress reports.

You will work under the Resident Engineer to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery within the Abu Dhabi environment.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering with Eight (8) years of experience in experience in miscellaneous Drainage Work Projects.
• Experience in SWS Water Infrastructure Projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer in day-to-day activities on the project with respect to utilities works.
• Coordinate with government departments, contractors, consultants and the public to facilitate progress.
• Maintain logs of project progress, handing-over and final accounts.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and cost estimates.
• Review design documents, shop drawings, method statements, and related correspondence.
