Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer for the Pressure & Sewerage Network project in Dubai. The role focuses on rigorous site supervision, QA, and liaison with DM and authorities to ensure works meet the program and design specifications.

The ideal candidate has a relevant university degree and 10–12 years of infrastructure experience, with strong English communication, supervisory, and decision-making capabilities. This position is full-time and on-site in the United Arab Emirates.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant degree from a recognized university with extensive knowledge of infrastructure projects.
• Candidate should have 10–12 years of infrastructure experience and be able to take on spot decisions.
• Experience in managing site works for construction and sewage treatment plants and pumping stations; knowledge of infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage site works to ensure alignment with construction plans and QA processes.
• Oversee inspection activities of consultants and ensure works match the project program.
• Coordinate with DM and other infrastructure authorities and prepare reports and cost estimates.
