Job summary

MPH is seeking an Assistant Resident Civil Engineer (ARE Civil) to support the Resident Civil Engineer in on-site supervision and technical monitoring of civil and structural works performed by the EPC Contractor in the United Arab Emirates. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and thorough documentation throughout construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of experience in civil construction, site supervision, or engineering support roles.
• Basic knowledge of concrete works, earthworks, and structural works; familiar with international standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Civil Engineer in supervising civil and structural construction activities on site.
• Support on-site inspections of earthworks, foundations, concrete works, steel structures, and utilities.
• Help verify works are executed per approved drawings, specifications, and site procedures.
• Assist in quality control activities and track non-conformities or deviations.
• Support HSE compliance through safety observations and reporting of unsafe conditions.
• Review basic civil EPC submissions (shop drawings, ITPs, method statements) and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Maintain site records, daily logs, checklists, NCRs, punch lists, and progress reports.
