The successful candidate will work across several marketing channels while building productive relationships with retailers, agencies, suppliers, government entities, and internal asset‑management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of the mall's annual marketing strategy and integrated campaign calendar.
- Coordinate marketing activities across digital, public relations, brand, events, retailer engagement, and revenue‑generating activations.
- Work with Al‑Futtaim retail businesses and partner brands to develop collaborative campaigns.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with tenants, agencies, suppliers, private‑sector partners, and government entities.
- Manage several campaigns and operational priorities simultaneously within a fast‑moving retail environment.
- Respond to event enquiries and coordinate appropriate below‑the‑line and above‑the‑line marketing exposure.
- Apply for government permits required for campaigns, events, installations, and promotional activities.
- Ensure campaign files, event reports, approvals, quotations, and administrative records meet audit requirements.
- Upload, review, and maintain accurate website content.
- Collect current tenant information, promotions, imagery, offers, and announcements for digital channels.
- Ensure retailer content is updated consistently across approved mall platforms.
- Lead routine marketing communication with mall tenants and retail partners.
- Coordinate annual campaigns, promotions, and events involving participating retailers.
- Prepare and distribute tenant newsletters, campaign updates, schedules, and participation requirements.
- Manage assigned marketing campaigns from initial concept and planning through execution and evaluation.
- Support the Events Manager with on‑site implementation during mall campaigns and public activities.
- Coordinate campaign timelines, suppliers, approvals, branding, production, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare post‑campaign reports covering participation, reach, execution, results, and improvement opportunities.
- Work with the public relations agency on retailer announcements, campaign messages, and mall‑related communications.
- Review tenant‑provided content before publication on mall digital platforms.
- Support the Digital Manager in planning and executing social media initiatives.
- Manage approved social media channels and ensure content is published accurately and professionally.
- Monitor social engagement and coordinate responses or escalation where required.
- Ensure completed projects are invoiced correctly and submitted to the Marketing Administrator on time.
- Track campaign expenditure and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
- Manage assigned campaign budgets and identify opportunities to reduce costs without lowering execution quality.
- Assist with specialty‑leasing forms and approvals connected to marketing events and activations.
- Conduct monthly competitor reviews covering campaigns, events, customer services, digital activity, and international mall‑marketing practices.
- Present relevant competitor findings and recommend practical improvements.
- Coordinate campaigns and public initiatives delivered in partnership with government organisations.
- Maintain communication with internal asset, leasing, operations, security, customer service, and finance departments.
- Ensure marketing activities comply with mall policies, brand guidelines, safety requirements, and approval procedures.
- Support commercial initiatives designed to increase footfall, tenant participation, customer engagement, and mall revenue.
Ideal Profile
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Between 3 and 4 years of marketing experience within shopping malls, retail businesses, agencies, or consumer‑facing environments.
- Previous mall marketing or retailer marketing experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing campaigns, events, promotions, digital content, social media, and public relations.
- Practical knowledge of the Dubai marketing environment, including festivals, suppliers, agencies, and event operations.
- Familiarity with relevant government bodies, permit processes, and tourism or commercial‑event requirements.
- Ability to communicate, read, and write fluently in Arabic.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Experience coordinating agencies, suppliers, tenants, and cross‑functional internal teams.
- Confidence managing multiple projects, deadlines, budgets, and administrative requirements.
- Ability to prepare campaign reports, event documentation, presentations, and competitor reviews.
- Strong ownership, accountability, initiative, and attention to process.
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of customer engagement and retail performance.
