Key Responsibilities
- Implement leasing and property management plans in line with senior management direction, portfolio objectives, and revenue targets.
- Generate new leasing leads, qualify prospects, strengthen existing relationships, and conduct professional property viewings for potential tenants.
- Negotiate lease terms, prepare lease agreements, coordinate approvals, and administer leasing documentation with accuracy and proper control.
- Work with internal teams to improve leasing operations, maximize occupancy, support rental income, and strengthen portfolio performance.
- Maintain complete lease records, approvals, contracts, correspondence, and supporting documents for management review and annual audit requirements.
- Ensure leasing activities comply with contractual obligations, legal standards, regulatory requirements, company policies, and approved procedures.
- Support core and ancillary revenue opportunities by identifying leasing gaps, tenant needs, commercial improvements, and portfolio growth potential.
- Build strong tenant relationships by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, coordinating solutions, and promoting a positive tenant experience.
- Monitor competitor activity, rental trends, customer demand, and wider market developments to support leasing strategy and business planning.
- Represent the Properties division professionally with internal stakeholders, external partners, tenants, service providers, and relevant local authorities.
- Prepare accurate leasing, occupancy, rental, tenant, and portfolio performance reports for senior management decision‑making.
- Support annual budget planning by providing leasing inputs, rental assumptions, collection updates, and portfolio performance information.
- Review rental payments, invoicing, collections, and account‑related matters to support financial accuracy and timely follow‑up.
- Assist with default cases, disputes, and litigation support by coordinating with in‑house legal teams and external entities.
- Ensure property management activities follow approved systems, workflows, reporting standards, compliance checks, and documentation procedures.
- Support special projects, operational improvements, tenant initiatives, and additional assignments required by senior management.
- Set clear objectives and KPIs for team members in line with business priorities, leasing targets, and service standards.
- Guide, mentor, and support team members to improve leasing coordination, tenant service, reporting discipline, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor team performance through structured follow‑up, practical feedback, and clear accountability for assigned responsibilities.
- Promote a results‑driven and collaborative work environment that encourages continuous improvement, ownership, and professional growth.
Ideal Profile
- Minimum 7 years of experience in real estate, retail leasing, property management, leasing support, or commercial property operations.
- At least 3 years of experience leading small teams, managing multi‑site portfolios, handling larger budgets, or supporting complex property operations.
- Proven background in leasing, tenant relations, lease negotiations, property documentation, portfolio coordination, and stakeholder management.
- Strong knowledge of leasing processes, lease agreements, regulatory compliance, rental documentation, approvals, and property administration.
- Ability to manage property viewings, prospect follow‑ups, tenant communications, commercial discussions, and occupancy‑related priorities.
- Good understanding of market research, competitor analysis, tenant expectations, rental trends, and portfolio performance indicators.
- Skilled in preparing leasing reports, occupancy updates, performance summaries, budget inputs, action trackers, and management presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using property management or lease management software.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with a client‑focused approach.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and confidence working in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Able to coordinate effectively with finance, legal, operations, senior management, tenants, external partners, and local authorities.
