Job summary

Talabat is seeking an Assistant Manager to own the performance of our bicycle and EV fleet and tMart operations across Dubai. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive compliance, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve fleet efficiency.

With a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in last-mile delivery or mobility tech, you will analyze data, set roadmaps, coach field staff, and champion ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Performance, 3PL, and Rider Lifecycle teams to resolve issues.

Job Description

As an Assistant Manager, you will own the performance of operations – spanning the bicycle and EV fleet and tMart operations. You will be expected to operate independently, drive compliance, and work closely with cross-functional teams to improve how the fleet runs.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational strategy and performance of the fleet - optimizing the fleet mix across bicycles and EVs, and setting the roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Track and analyze fleet performance metrics, translating data into structured updates and clear recommendations for leadership.
• Drive compliance at tMarts - visiting regularly, ensuring riders are showing up and following protocols, with consistent enforcement and a clear action plan for violators.
• Identify and drive long-term solutions to recurring operational challenges.
• Continuously refine and improve SOPs - leveraging automation and system enhancements to drive efficiency and reduce manual dependency.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Performance, 3PL, and Rider Lifecycle teams to resolve systemic issues and align on priorities.
• Build a high-performing team, foster a culture of ownership and accountability, with clear communication, and alignment across city-level operations.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in operations, ideally in last-mile delivery, e-commerce, or mobility tech.
• Proven experience managing on-ground teams and working across functions.
