Job summary

Madinat Jumeirah Resort in Dubai is seeking an Assistant Manager to join Learning and Development from September 2026 onwards. You will lead the design and implementation of the corporate L&D strategy, support leadership programs, and deliver e-learning courses aligned with industry best practices.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Business or HR, CIPD qualification, and at least 5 years of international luxury hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or HR from a recognized university.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in international luxury hospitality or blue‑chip environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the corporate Learning & Development strategy.
• Develop leadership programs, coaching and mentoring initiatives.
• Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, and career paths.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs accordingly.
• Assist with budget and reporting for talent management initiatives.

About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join one of the outlets of Learning and Development in Madinat Jumeirah Resort from September 2026 onwards:

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Assist in designing and implementing the corporate Learning and Development strategy to foster talent development and align with the group’s vision.
• Support the development of leadership programs, including coaching and mentoring initiatives, to identify and nurture high-potential individuals for leadership roles.
• Collaborate in designing and delivering e-learning courses, workshops, IDPs, career paths, and other training initiatives in alignment with industry best practices.
• Support the review, evaluation, and reporting of training program effectiveness, ensuring talent management practices meet business needs.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of culture initiatives, contribute to employee benefits assessment, and recommend strategies for attraction, retention, and innovative practices.
• Contribute to the preparation of the talent management budget, assist in monitoring financial performance, and effectively manage the departmental budget and P&L. .

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources Management or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University
• CIPD Qualification or similar certification or Diploma
• Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably with an international luxury hospitality company or a recognized blue-chip organization.
• Additional Language is an advantage
