Job summary

Southern Sun in Abu Dhabi seeks an Assistant F&B Manager to oversee the finance and administration of the Food and Beverage division, including budgets, reporting and analysis. You will interpret HR policies and contribute to policy development and controls for purchasing, stock and deliveries.

The role requires a tertiary hospitality qualification and 3–5 years' experience, with strong MS Office skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management.
• Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• At least 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
• Good interpersonal skills with a customer experience mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage F&B finance and administration including budgets, financial analysis, management systems and reporting.
• Access and interpret human resource policies and legislative requirements for efficient implementation.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, strategies and controls for F&B purchasing, deliveries and stock.
• Market and promote the Food and Beverage outlets within the hotel.
• Manage all areas related to contractual arrangements.
• Facilitate effective interdepartmental cooperation to ensure guests' expectations are anticipated and exceeded.
• Deliver high quality standards as part of a team or individually.
