We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Finance Manager to join our team and lead the company's finance and accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall Finance & Accounting function.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and banking activities.
- Monitor company expenses, costs, and financial performance.
- Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations for business decisions.
- Ensure proper accounting of assets, liabilities, provisions, accruals, and depreciation.
- Ensure compliance with UAE tax, VAT, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
- Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls.
- Monitor inventory valuation, costing, and manufacturing-related financial transactions.
- Work closely with HR, Operations, Procurement, Sales, and Management on financial matters.
- Review and approve financial transactions, payments, and accounting entries.
- Lead and develop the Finance team.
- Ensure accurate financial data and timely submission of management reports.
- Support management in cost optimization and profitability improvement initiatives.
- Participate in ERP implementation, system improvements, and finance process automation.
ERP / SAP Experience
ERP experience is preferred, particularly SAP. Experience with SAP Finance / FI and integration with other modules such as HCM, MM, and SD is an advantage. Experience in ERP-based financial reporting, budgeting, costing, month-end closing, and financial controls. Candidates with experience in SAP implementation, configuration, testing, or process improvement will have an added advantage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of UAE accounting, VAT, and financial regulations.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, costing, and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
