Job summary

Confidential Company in the UAE is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, budgeting, and business partnering across our multi-location retail/entertainment platforms.

You will drive IFRS-compliant reporting, cash flow management, and internal controls while partnering with operations to improve profitability and support strategic growth. You will lead a team, manage audits, and ensure timely statutory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA CMA CPA CIMA or MBA Finance; CA not mandatory.
• 12-15 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Minimum 8-10 years in a Finance Manager position.
• Experience in Retail, Entertainment, Leisure, UAE preferred.
• Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, audits, VAT and cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements per IFRS.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and liquidity.
• Oversee AP, AR, General Ledger and Fixed Assets.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyze performance vs budgets and forecasts.
• Provide variance analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop financial models to support expansion decisions.
• Work with operations to improve profitability and support decisions.
• Monitor revenue margins, costs and key KPIs.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new initiatives.
• Ensure IFRS, VAT compliance and UAE regs; coordinate audits.
• Maintain internal controls and governance; meet reporting deadlines.
• Drive cost optimization and finance transformation; improve reporting.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven strong Finance Manager strong to oversee the organization s financial operations reporting budgeting and business partnering activities The ideal candidate should possess strong financial management experience within the strong Retail or Entertainment sectors strong with the ability to support business growth through accurate financial planning analysis and operational excellence The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring financial compliance managing accounting operations improving financial controls and providing strategic insights to support management decision-making

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

• Manage the organization s day-to-day finance and accounting operations
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities
• Monitor cash flow working capital and liquidity requirements
• Oversee Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable General Ledger and Fixed Assets

Budgeting and Financial Planning

• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts
• Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions
• Develop financial models to support business expansion and investment decisions

Business Partnering

• Work closely with operational departments to improve profitability
• Support commercial decision-making through financial analysis
• Monitor revenue margins operating costs and key financial KPIs
• Conduct feasibility studies for new business initiatives

Financial Reporting and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with IFRS VAT regulations and UAE financial regulations
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance
• Ensure statutory reporting deadlines are met

Cost Control and Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiencies
• Strengthen financial processes and internal controls
• Drive finance transformation initiatives and process automation
• Improve reporting accuracy and reduce financial closing timelines

Team Management

• Lead mentor and develop the finance team
• Allocate work effectively and monitor team performance
• Foster collaboration across departments

Qualifications

• Bachelor s Degree in Finance Accounting Commerce or Business Administration
• Professional qualification such as strong ACCA CMA CPA CIMA or MBA Finance strong is preferred strong CA qualification is not mandatory strong
• Experience 12- 15 years strong of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting
• Minimum 8-10 years in a Finance Manager position strong
• Mandatory experience in one or more of the following industries RetailEntertainment LeisureFamily entertainment CentersUAE experience is highly preferred
• Experience managing budgets financial reporting audits VAT and cash flow
