Minor Hotels seeks an Assistant Bar Manager for Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel. You will assist in daily bar operations, ensure cleanliness, and drive guest satisfaction while supporting financial targets.

You will supervise and train the bar team, participate in promotions and beverage purchasing, and ensure compliance with brand standards, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an Assistant Bar Manager.
• Experience in a large luxury hotel environment preferred.

As an Assistant Bar Manager, you are responsible for assisting in managing the assigned bar to achieve guest satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the daily operations of the bar
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all areas of the bar
• Ensure exceptional guest service and maintain high guest satisfaction levels
• Supervise, train, and motivate bar team members to deliver excellent service
• Be involved in the planning of promotions, beverage purchases, and pricing under the supervision of the Cluster Director of Food & Beverage
• Supervise the daily operation under standards fixed by the Hotel Management and F&B Operations
• Control beverage costs, inventory levels, and stock ordering
• Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and compliance with brand standards
• Ensure correct handling of equipment to minimize breakages and losses
• Participate actively in the creation of new drinks and snacks, improve presentations to achieve the overall objectives, and propose variations to the Cluster Director of Food & Beverage
• Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding alcohol service and health & safety requirements.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property required
• Pre-opening experience is an advantage
