Job summary

Client of UWP HR Consultancy in Dubai is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Supervisor to manage and supervise all asphalt paving activities. You will ensure safe and high-quality project delivery while adhering to client specifications and productivity targets.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant asphalt qualification, a minimum of five years in paving supervision, and a strong background in project management, specifically in Dubai asphalt contracting projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years experience in asphalt paving supervision or management.
• Mandatory experience in Dubai asphalt contracting projects.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.

Job description

Supervise and coordinate all asphalt paving activities to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality project delivery while meeting client specifications, project schedules and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily asphalt paving operations.
• Coordinate manpower, plant, materials and equipment to achieve project objectives.
• Prepare daily and weekly work programmes in line with the project schedule.
• Monitor productivity, optimize resource utilization and implement improvements where required.
• Supervise paving crews and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress and provide regular reports to the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to support successful project execution.
• Support workforce development through coaching, guidance and performance monitoring.

Compliance & Ethics

• Comply with the Company’s Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery & Corruption policies.
• Report any suspected breaches of company policies or ethical standards.

Quality Responsibilities

• Follow Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures.
• Ensure all paving works comply with project specifications, client requirements and applicable quality standards.

Qualifications
