Job summary

ULTIMATE HUMAN RESOURCES SOLUTIONS LLC in Dubai is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to supervise asphalt pavement construction, monitor surface preparation, compaction and finishing, and ensure compliance with project specifications.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years UAE experience in roads/highway projects, strong knowledge of asphalt laying and mix design, and holds a UAE driving license. Immediate joiners are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of UAE experience in asphalt pavement, roads or highways.
• Strong knowledge of asphalt laying and paving processes.
• Hands-on experience in rolling pattern setup and compaction.
• Experience in asphalt mix design evaluation and material testing.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and quality procedures.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Immediate joiners are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor asphalt pavement construction activities
• Oversee asphalt laying surface preparation compaction and finishing
• Develop and monitor rolling patterns to achieve required density
• Review asphalt mix designs and ensure compliance with project specifications
• Coordinate with asphalt plants for material production and delivery
• Monitor asphalt temperature, thickness, density and compaction
• Coordinate with consultants, laboratories, contractors and site teams
• Monitor material testing and maintain quality records
• Identify material deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare quality reports and support resolution of material-related issues
