Job summary

Confidential Company in the United Arab Emirates seeks a seasoned Asphalt Materials Engineer to conduct laboratory and field testing of asphalt aggregates and construction materials. You will monitor paving activities, check mix quality, and ensure documentation and calibration of equipment meet project standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ UAE years in asphalt pavement, with knowledge of mix design and quality control, and hold a civil or materials engineering degree. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in field and laboratory testing procedures.
• Knowledge of asphalt mix design and quality control.
• Strong communication and coordination skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory and field testing of strong asphalt aggregates and construction materials strong
• Perform quality control tests as per project specifications and standards
• Monitor asphalt paving activities including laying and rolling pattern setup
• Check asphalt mix quality temperature density and compaction
• Collect and prepare material samples for laboratory testing
• Maintain accurate test records reports and quality documentation
• Coordinate with Material Engineers Site Engineers and project teams
• Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and maintained
• Identify non-conforming materials and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure testing activities comply with quality and HSE requirements
