Job summary

KEO Group is seeking an Architectural Inspector to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role focuses on ensuring projects comply with architectural plans, building codes, and safety standards through on-site inspections.

We value candidates with strong site oversight skills, 9+ years of experience, and a degree in Architecture. This position emphasizes coordination across disciplines and rigorous documentation in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 9 years of work experience with a Diploma or Bachelor degree in Architecture.
• Experience gained from working on villas projects in the UAE is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action.
• Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and best practice.
• Report any works found not in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor quality of works and assess site safety and environmental issues.
• Maintain records for daily activities on site with progress photos.
• Prepare surveillance reports for deficiencies and NCRs if needed.
• Check and ensure effective coordination between discipline related works and other disciplines.

Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented ArchitecturalInspector to join our teambased in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

This position is responsible for ensuring the project aheres to the architectural plans, building codes and regulations and safety standards by conducting on-site inspections.

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Attending to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
• Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
• Report any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholdersfor appropriate action.
• Monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuringcompliance withcontractual / QCS specifications andsafety and health risk assessments.
• Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
• Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site andnon conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
• Check and ensure effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
• Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.

Qualifications
