Job summary

HUB DISTRICT INTERIOR DESIGN L.L.C is seeking an Architect – Interior Fit-Out to coordinate architectural design, prepare shop drawings, and supervise sites in Dubai. The role requires strong coordination with MEP, structural, and civil teams and ensuring designs align with approved plans and timelines.

The candidate should have UAE interior fit-out experience, solid AutoCAD skills, and knowledge of 3D Studio Max, SketchUp, Revit, or Photoshop.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in architecture/interior fit-out projects.
• UAE experience in interior fit-out, renovation, villa, commercial, hospitality, or residential projects preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of 3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, or Photoshop is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review architectural drawings, layouts, details, and shop drawings for interior fit-out projects.
• Develop and coordinate floor plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, joinery details, and interior details.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with MEP, structural, civil, and other project requirements.
• Review drawings and ensure accuracy before execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress against specifications.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Check site measurements and verify existing site conditions before drawings.
• Prepare and review BOQ, material specifications, and quantity requirements.
• Coordinate with estimation and commercial team for project requirements and variations.
• Review material samples, finishes, mock-ups, and shop drawings for compliance.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Architect – Interior Fit-Out to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for architectural design coordination, technical drawings, site supervision, material coordination, and ensuring that fit-out projects are completed according to approved designs, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and review architectural drawings, layouts, details, and shop drawings for interior fit-out projects.
• Develop and coordinate floor plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, joinery details, and interior details.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with MEP, structural, civil, and other project requirements.
• Review drawings and ensure all details are accurate and coordinated before execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor work progress against approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Check site measurements and verify existing site conditions before preparing drawings.
• Prepare and review BOQ, material specifications, and quantity requirements when required.
• Coordinate with the estimation and commercial team for project requirements and variations.
• Review material samples, finishes, mock-ups, and shop drawings for compliance with project requirements.
• Identify design and technical issues at site and provide practical solutions.
• Ensure construction works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with the project team to meet deadlines.
• Attend client, consultant, contractor, and internal coordination meetings as required.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, drawing submissions, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding materials, drawings, and technical requirements.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and final project documentation.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, approvals, and project correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE building regulations, authority requirements, and project specifications.
• Support the Project Manager and management team in resolving design and execution-related issues.
• Carry out other architectural and project-related duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in architecture/interior fit-out projects.
• UAE experience in interior fit-out, renovation, villa, commercial, hospitality, or residential projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of architectural drawings and construction details.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Knowledge of 3D Max, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, or other design software is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of interior fit-out materials, finishes, joinery, ceilings, flooring, partitions, and related construction works.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong site coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
