Caliberly is seeking an experienced Architect to lead interior fit-out and construction design from concept to execution. You will translate design intent into buildable solutions while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities in the UAE.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in architectural design with strong proposal skills, proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit, and a keen eye for detail across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in architecture with interior fit-out exposure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit; able to render concept visuals.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and detailed interior layouts.
• Prepare drawings, elevations, sections for fit-out scope.
• Select FF&E with design and procurement teams.
• Coordinate with MEP and other consultants for integration.
• Oversee site execution and resolve on-site issues.

Job Title - Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Architect with a strong background in interior fit-out and construction. The right candidate will lead design efforts from concept through execution ensuring design intent is translated into high-quality buildable solutions coordinating with consultants and contractors and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural design concepts and detailed interior layouts ensuring aesthetics functionality and buildability.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings shop drawings elevations sections and details to support fit-out scope.
• Select materials finishes fittings and furniture (FF&E) in collaboration with the design and procurement teams.
• Lead coordination with MEP structural and other consultants to integrate architecture with technical systems.
• Oversee site execution: conduct regular site visits check subcontractor work ensure design quality and resolve on-site issues.
• Ensure that architectural work aligns with regulatory requirements building codes and health & safety standards.
• Work with project managers to develop project schedules define milestones and monitor progress against design objectives.
• Prepare design presentations renderings and client-facing materials to communicate vision and obtain approvals.
• Review and approve material submittals shop drawings and mock-ups to maintain design integrity.
• Support the handover process: prepare as-built drawings participate in snagging and ensure design compliance post-completion.
• Mentor junior designers or interns review their work and provide guidance on design and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Architecture Interior Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in architecture with significant exposure to interior fit-out projects in construction or real-estate development.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD Revit (or similar) SketchUp and rendering tools (e.g. V-Ray Lumion).
• Strong understanding of interior construction methods detailing finishes and joinery.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to articulate design ideas to clients consultants and site teams.
• Experience coordinating with MEP structural and other disciplines to align design and construction.
• Familiarity with UAE building regulations permits and authority processes is a plus.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
• Valid UAE driving licence is a plus (for site coordination).
