Job summary

HyperSpace in Dubai seeks an experienced Architectural BIM lead to drive concept-to-completion designs. You will create accurate 3D models, coordinate BIM across disciplines, and ensure compliance with local regulations. The role requires strong Revit and AutoCAD skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

You will collaborate with engineers, consultants, and site teams to deliver immersive venues that align with project milestones and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field.
• 8–10 years of architectural design experience with hands-on Revit modeling in the UAE or similar markets.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential.
• Experience with BIM workflows, model coordination, clash detection, and validation.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations and local approvals.

Responsibilities

About the Role

You will bring bold ideas to life by managing architectural and BIM projects from concept to completion. You'll develop innovative, high-quality designs, create accurate 3D models and technical drawings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver immersive spaces on time. From coordinating with consultants and contractors to ensuring compliance with local regulations and supporting site execution, you'll play a key role in turning creative ideas into exceptional guest experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Manage projects from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design.
• Conduct site inspections to assess project conditions and verify requirements prior to design documentation.
• Develop ideas keeping in mind the project needs, buildings usage and environmental impact.
• Prepare and maintain drawing schedules and submission checklists required for project approvals.
• Develop BIM models from LOD 100 (Concept Design) through LOD 400 (Shop/Construction Drawings) using Revit; AutoCAD detailing experience is preferred.
• Produce 3D models, BIM documentation, and detailed drawings that meet project requirements and local building regulations.
• Coordinate BIM models with structural, MEP, AVL, and other disciplines to ensure accurate integration and clash-free designs.
• Collaborate with design/project teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants, to deliver project milestones on time.
• Attend consultant's meetings and liaise with construction professionals.
• Conduct design reviews, clash detection, and resolve issues related to design and BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality (DM) regulations, local authority requirements, building codes, and international standards.
• Provide technical support during project execution, attending site meetings when necessary.
• Following other disciplines' feedback, incorporating all comments in work, ensuring accuracy in all drawings.
• Prepare project submission as per project stages including authority submission to acquire building permit and approvals on governing authorities
• Producing fully coordinated and accurate set of drawings
• Create and develops complex 3D models
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates on design and documentation status.
• Maintain and update BIM libraries, project documentation, and Revit standards.
• Prepare and issue drawing packages in the required formats for project managers, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
  

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of architectural design experience, with strong hands-on Revit modeling experience in the UAE or similar markets.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is a must!
• Experience with BIM workflows, model coordination, clash detection, and model validation.
• Working knowledge of MEP, Structural, and AVL coordination.
• Strong understanding of Dubai Municipality regulations, local authority approvals, building codes, and construction documentation.
• Proficiency in visualization and design tools such as Navisworks, Lumion, Enscape, Dynamo, Rhino 3D, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona Renderer, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is an advantage.
• Strong portfolio showcasing architectural design, technical expertise, and creative problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong technical drawing, detailing, and documentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Creative thinker with strong spatial awareness, strategic decision-making skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional design.

Nice To Have

• Professional Revit or BIM certification.
• Experience in parametric design and computational modeling.
