Job summary

DesignTomorrow in Dubai seeks an Architect to lead design packages from concept through delivery on flagship projects across the UAE. You will own a package, drive reviews with a point of view, and mentor junior architects while maintaining DT standards.

You bring 2–4 years post-master experience, a strong portfolio, Master’s degree in Architecture, and proficiency in Rhino, Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Suite; familiarity with AI tools and parametric workflows; and willingness to relocate to UAE.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience post MA/MSc with at least one project from concept to detailed design.
• Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; licensure in progress or planned.
• Strong design portfolio with evidence of personal authorship on at least one project.
• Proficiency in Rhino, Revit, Enscape and Adobe Suite; team reference for at least one tool.
• Practical fluency with AI design tools and scripted or parametric workflows.
• Knowledge of regulations and codes relevant to the package.
• Awareness of how interiors, structure, MEP and landscape shape architectural decisions.
• Willingness to relocate or be based in UAE.

Responsibilities

• Own a defined design package or workstream within a project, from brief to delivery, coordinating with the project lead on dependencies and milestones.
• Produce drawing sets, BIM models, renders and presentation material to DT standard, with minimal rework.
• Coordinate with consultants on your package: issue queries, log responses and track resolution.
• Develop original design options and present them coherently in design reviews.
• Apply AI-augmented workflows where they help, keeping design intent intact.
• Mentor Junior Architects informally on tools, techniques and DT standards.
• Contribute to DT Labs, internal R&D and knowledge sessions, and to DT's design and technical standards.
• Support bid materials and pitch presentations with visuals, diagrams and content under the direction of senior staff.

Job description

DesignTomorrow is looking for an Architect to join our Dubai studio in d3 and own design packages within a project from start to finish. This is a role for someone who has moved past pure execution: you bring ideas, you come to design reviews with a point of view, and you can take a package and run with it without someone checking every line behind you.

You will work on large-scale, design-ambitious projects across the UAE and the wider region: masterplans, cultural districts, waterfront developments and high-end residential schemes. You will drive your package from brief to delivery, coordinate with consultants, and present your own design options in DT's regular design reviews, where the work is pressure-tested and reputations across the studio are built.

You will also be the person the Junior Architects ask first. Helping them with tools, techniques and DT standards is part of the job, and so is contributing to DT Labs, where we develop the new technologies and techniques the studio works with.

DT is a practice built to be a platform for personal and career growth. The path from Architect to Project Architect is clear and competency-based: you move up when you are already doing the job, not when the calendar says so.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience post MA/MSc, with at least one project taken from concept through to detailed design.
• Master's degree in Architecture (MA, MSc, MArch or international equivalent) from an accredited institution. Professional licensure in progress or planned.
• A strong design portfolio with evidence of personal authorship on at least one project.
• Confident in Rhino, Revit, Enscape and Adobe Suite, and often the team's reference for at least one of them.
• Practical fluency with AI design tools and scripted or parametric workflows, and the judgement to know when to use them and when not to.
• Working knowledge of the regulations and codes relevant to your package, without being prompted.
• Growing awareness of how interiors, structure, MEP and landscape shape architectural decisions.
• Wants to keep learning and growing, and to help the people behind you do the same.
• Must be currently based in the UAE, or willing to relocate.

Nice to have:

• Lumion or Blender.
• Familiarity with the GCC context, climate and cultural sensitivities.
• Experience supporting bids and competition submissions.
