Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a proactive Project Operations Coordinator to manage automotive testing projects and field operations across the UAE and GCC. You will coordinate with drivers, field teams, management, and service providers to ensure timely project completion, resolve operational issues, and keep stakeholders informed.

The role requires UAE residency, a valid UAE driving license, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must reside in UAE.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple drivers, vehicles and projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the GCC (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, etc.).
• Experience in operations, logistics or fleet management preferred.
• Good computer and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily automotive testing operations and ongoing projects across UAE and GCC.
• Manage communication with drivers and field teams regarding schedules, routes, vehicle movements, mileage targets, and project requirements.
• Follow up with drivers and projects continuously and respond to urgent operational matters.
• Monitor project progress and ensure activities meet schedule and client requirements.
• Handle unexpected operational situations and implement practical solutions to prevent delays.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, fueling, parking, accommodation, and other project logistics.
• Track vehicle status, driver activities, project progress and expenses; provide regular updates to management.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure smooth day-to-day operations with minimal supervision.

We are looking for a proactive, responsible, and highly organized Project Operations Coordinator to manage and follow up on automotive testing projects and daily field operations across the UAE and GCC region. The successful candidate will coordinate closely with drivers, field teams, management, and service providers to ensure projects are completed smoothly and operational issues are resolved quickly. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and monitor daily automotive testing operations and ongoing projects.

• Manage communication with drivers and field teams regarding schedules, routes, vehicle movements, mileage targets, and project requirements.
• Follow up with drivers and projects continuously and respond to urgent operational matters when required.
• Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed according to schedule and client requirements.
• Handle unexpected operational situations, make timely decisions, and implement practical solutions to prevent project delays.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, recovery, transportation, fueling, charging, parking, accommodation, and other project logistics.
• Coordinate with workshops, suppliers, service providers, and other external parties when necessary.
• Track vehicle status, driver activities, project progress, expenses, incidents, and other operational information.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to management.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure smooth day-to-day operations with minimal supervision.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Must currently reside in the UAE.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English – spoken and written.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Strong communication, coordination, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple drivers, vehicles, and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for operational decisions.
• Willingness to remain reachable outside normal working hours when urgent project matters arise.
• Must be willing and able to travel frequently for projects within the GCC, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and other GCC countries.
• Flexibility to stay outside the UAE for extended periods when required by a project.
• Previous experience in operations, project coordination, automotive operations, fleet management, logistics, or a similar field is preferred.
• Good computer and reporting skills.
