Job summary

ABB in Abu Dhabi seeks an Automation Engineering Manager with a focus on APC and plant optimization to drive energy efficiency and optimization projects across UAE, Kuwait, and Pakistan. You will lead technical services, model solutions, and realize value for customers while coordinating with ABB teams.

The role requires strong English communication, deep expertise in APC, and the ability to translate technical concepts into customer value. On-site work in Abu Dhabi is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in APC and energy & process optimization projects in Energy & Process Industries.
• Translate advanced process control concepts into clear customer value propositions and requirements.
• Experience with Plant Optimization solutions leveraging APC and related software.
• Enhanced knowledge of plant optimization solutions.
• Strong customer collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Optimization and APC projects from surveys through modelling and value realization.
• Execute service projects at customer sites with coordination across UAE, Kuwait and Pakistan.
• Identify tangible benefits of Optimization solutions for Gulf and Pakistan markets.
• Provide technical support remotely or on-site within the Service portfolio.
• Determine effective service applications and methods for new offerings.
