Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Senior Engineer - Process Automation to strengthen plant reliability and efficiency through advanced automation and digitalization. The role covers DCS, APC, RTO, alarm management, LIMS and control loop performance monitoring.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in process automation within oil and gas, strong DCS knowledge, and experience leading optimization projects while ensuring HSE and OT security compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical/process engineering or equivalent.
• At least eight years in process control, optimization or automation in oil and gas.
• Strong knowledge of DCS, BLPC, APC, RTO, CLPM and process information apps.
• Experience leading alarm rationalization, suppression and performance improvement.
• Ability to develop and enforce automation standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and lifecycle management of process automation systems.
• Review automation requirements across base layer control, APC, RTO and alarm systems.
• Assess control loop performance and implement improvements for yield and cost.
• Ensure OT-IT cybersecurity compliance and adherence to standards.
• Supervise external consultants during engineering, installation and testing.
• Develop technical documentation and training materials.
