Uae Job Alert in Dubai seeks an Ambulance Estimation Engineer to support technical and commercial ambulance projects. You will prepare detailed estimates, develop BOMs, and review tender documents for accurate costing.

The role requires strong collaboration with engineering, procurement and sales teams to ensure competitive quotations while maintaining pricing data for multiple projects in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant engineering degree and strong cost estimation capabilities.
• Experience estimating ambulance/specialist vehicle projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project estimates and quotations for ambulances and other specialist emergency vehicles.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and costing information for tender submissions.
• Review customer enquiries, tender documents, engineering drawings and technical specifications before preparing estimates.
• Identify materials, equipment, labour and services for vehicle conversions.
• Calculate costs for body modifications, fabrication and interior fit-out activities.
• Estimate requirements for medical interiors and specialized emergency vehicle equipment.
• Review costing for electrical systems, emergency lighting, communications equipment and accessories.
• Include HVAC, oxygen systems, stretchers, patient-handling equipment and storage solutions in estimates.
• Calculate material, labour, installation, tooling, logistics and subcontracting costs.
• Request quotations from suppliers/subcontractors and compare options.
• Check supplier proposals for pricing, compliance and delivery times.
• Coordinate with procurement for current pricing.
• Support sales with technical information and pricing clarification.
• Participate in value-engineering discussions to improve cost/efficiency.
• Maintain pricing records and supplier data.
• Update estimates with specification changes.
• Prepare revised quotations and evaluate scope variations.
