Job summary

AJC International is seeking a driven Logistics Specialist to join its diverse team in Dubai. The role focuses on initiating, managing, and controlling the movement of refrigerated cargo and maintaining export documentation.

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in logistics, is detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of international logistics experience, with proficiency in Excel and Incoterms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–3 years of international logistics import/export, inventory, documentation, and transportation experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, especially in Excel, is required.
• Candidate must be familiar with Incoterms and various modes of transportation to ensure timely arrival of products at the best cost.
• Previous frozen meat products and refrigerated product experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, collate, review, and dispatch documents for export loads.
• Set up daily container traffic with vendors.
• Track and trace containers.
• Cooperation and coordination of work with strategic vendors.
• Coordinate customs clearance as well as inspection as required.
• Coordinate deliveries to customers and warehouses.
• Review weekly Vendor invoices and approve payment.
• Assisting and liaising with internal teams and customers in solving issues.
• Cooperation with carriers, forwarding companies, trucking companies, cold storages, agencies, other AJC offices to ensure a successful logistic process.
