Job summary

talabat is seeking a Manager, Data Scientist - AI to lead a team delivering ML and generative AI systems that power decisions across our product and business. You will own the roadmap, balance people leadership with technical excellence, and guide the full ML lifecycle from framing problems to production monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 6+ years in data science, ML, and/or GenAI, incl. shipping models to production.
• 2+ years managing or leading a data science or ML team.
• Experience in online consumer product environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data scientists building ML and AI systems across talabat's product and business.
• Own roadmap and delivery, bridging technical and people leadership.
• Drive end-to-end ML lifecycle: data pipelines, model training, deployment, monitoring.
• Advance LLMs, agentic systems, and GenAI to scale intelligent experiences.
