Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an OpenBlue Customer Advisor to partner with clients in delivering value across the customer lifecycle. You will drive onboarding, adoption, and growth for OpenBlue solutions, acting as a trusted advisor to executives and end users alike.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, training, and proactive engagement to ensure measurable business outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 8+ years experience in HVAC, building automation, energy management, facility management, or building maintenance services.
• Hands-on OT deployment experience in medium to large facilities.
• Experience delivering user training and product demonstrations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and partners.
• Strong CRM track record with enterprise customers (e.g., Customer Success, Account or Project Manager).
• Organized, cross-functional coordination within matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end value for OpenBlue solutions to customers.
• Lead customer onboarding and kickoff activities.
• Participate in deployment milestone calls and progress reviews.
• Understand customer personas and goals; ask questions to clarify challenges.
• Train end users on OpenBlue value framework and success metrics.
• Provide training resources and support processes to customers.
• Verify scope completion per contract and customer needs.
• Offer guided product tours post-delivery and drive adoption.
• Monitor usage analytics and communicate insights to customers.
• Conduct 30-60-90 day check-ins and regular adoption reviews.
• Engage in Customer Business Reviews with account managers and share feedback with Product.
• Identify opportunities for retention and growth with customers.
