Job summary

Itcan is seeking a senior product analytics professional to operate inside a live infrastructure buildout. You will help get the data foundation right and use AI tools to accelerate analysis, turning event data and growth metrics into decisions for the product and leadership.

The role emphasizes partnering with PMs/engineers on instrumentation, building dashboards, and owning north-star and funnel metrics for a two-sided marketplace. UAE/GCC context is valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product analytics or data analysis in marketplaces, ecommerce, or performance-marketing.
• Define, track and report north-star and funnel metrics for brands and creators.
• Own north-star and funnel/retention metrics for a two-sided marketplace.
• Partner with PMs to define event tracking specs during feature planning.
• Instrument with PMs/engineers on data collection, not just consume data.
• Work on ongoing data infrastructure modernization with data/engineering.
• Validate data quality, flag gaps, and advise on schema/taxonomy decisions.
• Comfort with imperfect data and evolving schemas during modernization.
• Build and maintain dashboards for PMs, leadership, and investors.
• Hands-on with a customer data platform or event tracking and modern BI.
• Fluent in SQL and comfortable in Python (pandas), for dashboard work.
• Use LLM-assisted SQL/Python generation and AI-driven analysis pipelines.
• AI-native by practice: using LLMs/agents daily to improve output and automation.
• Tie product/campaign changes to revenue, retention, and unit economics.
• Design and size A/B tests, read results, and maintain an experiment log.
• Bring UAE/GCC context into funnel/campaign data interpretation.
• Contribute clean numbers to board/investor updates.
• Support data literacy across PM team as analytics discipline grows.
• Strong written and verbal communication; turn analysis into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities
