Job summary

Abu Dhabi Aviation is seeking a hands-on application support professional to keep enterprise systems, including our aviation MRO platform and live ERP, running smoothly. You’ll bridge end-users and vendors while supporting AI initiatives and data-driven improvements.

You’ll resolve defects, configure systems, build reports, and help test AI-enabled tools, with SQL/SSRS skills to extract and deliver insights for business operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years in IT application support or enterprise systems support; aviation preferred.
• Hands-on experience supporting or implementing ERP systems.
• Experience with aviation MRO software, reporting and data extraction.
• SQL Server and SSRS expertise; data preparation and reporting.
• Practical AI/ML experience including LLM integration and automation.

Responsibilities

• Support, configure, test and maintain ADA's enterprise applications, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Manage day-to-day operation of aviation MRO software with Engineering & Maintenance and the vendor.
• Support ERP implementation end-to-end: configuration, data migration, integration, testing and stabilization.
• Act as the technical liaison between end-users and vendors on business-critical applications.
• Gather and document business requirements, procedures and access needs.
• Deliver first- and second-line application support and basic user training.
• Develop enhancements, interfaces and integrations between enterprise systems.
• Design, develop, integrate and test AI-based solutions.
• Prepare, cleanse and curate data for AI/ML use cases.
• Integrate AI, LLM and machine-learning services into enterprise applications.
• Build ad-hoc and scheduled reports using SQL Server and SSRS.
• Write and optimise SQL queries to extract, transform and validate data.
• Perform statistical and strategic analysis to support business needs.
• Maintain technical and functional documentation and track items to closure.
• Comply with Information Security, EHS and ADA policies.
