Job summary

EDGE is seeking an Engineer II – Special Processes based in Abu Dhabi to support the development, qualification, and industrialization of aerospace special processes for propulsion programs. You will contribute to rotating, structural, and hot‑section engine components in a greenfield manufacturing environment.

The role requires hands‑on expertise across multiple processes, along with experience in NPI, production ramp‑up, and root‑cause investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace or propulsion manufacturing.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in at least two aerospace special process technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support development, qualification, and continuous improvement of aerospace special processes.
• Apply knowledge of shot peening, thermal spray coatings, heat treatment, brazing, and chemical processing.
• Assist in creating routings, process specs, work instructions, and control plans.
• Help with process validation activities including FAI and capability studies.
• Support data collection to ensure stable process performance.
